Erica Carlson (Breakout Speaker)
Professor of Physics at Purdue University. She holds a B.S. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Physics from UCLA. She is variously published in peer-reviewed journals. She is a volunteer apologist, speaking across the country with Reasons to Believe.

 

Lawrence Mykytiuk (Breakout Speaker)
Associate Professor of Library Science, the History Librarian, and by courtesy Associate Professor of History at Purdue University. He holds a PhD in Hebrew and Semitic Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A reader of twelve languages, he took his Master of Theological Studies at Asian Theological Seminary, in the Philippines. His B.A. is from Trinity International University, Deerfield, Illinois. Dr. Mykytiuk’s published dissertation, Identifying Biblical Persons in Northwest Semitic Inscriptions of 1200–539 B.C.E. had largely established the first comprehensive way of identifying people in the Bible in Bible-era inscriptions—empirical evidence for biblical historicity. The results appear in a 2014 Biblical Archaeology Review article, “Archaeology Confirms 50 Real People in the Bible.” Other articles of his trace scholars’ responses to radical denials of the historical reliability of Scripture since 1992.

 

David Henderson (Breakout Speaker)
Dr. Henderson was an atheist in high school and college. He is now Senior Pastor of Covenant Church in West Lafayette, IN. He is author of Tranquility: Cultivating a Quiet Soul in a Busy World and Culture Shift: Communicating God’s Word in a Changing World.

Linda Seiler (Breakout Speaker)
Linda is the director of Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Purdue University. A graduate of the University of Illinois, she recently earned a master’s degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, writing her thesis on “Compassion without Compromise: A Christian Response to Homosexuality” which addresses the origin of same-sex attractions and whether such attractions are genetically hard-wired. Linda is currently pursuing her PhD in the same subject area.

Matt Carlson (Breakout Speaker)
He holds a BS in Chemistry and a PhD from California Institute of Technology and teaches science at Harrison High School. His PhD focused on Computational Theoretical Biochemistry – trying to develop forcefields for use in protein folding. He currently teaches chemistry and physics at Harrison High School. Corey Miller (Breakout Speaker)
He is the President/CEO of Ratio Christi and is Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Comparative Religions at Indiana University-Kokomo. He is variously published and is author of Is Faith in God Reasonable? Debates in Philosophy, Science, and Rhetoric (2014). He holds masters degrees in philosophy, biblical studies, and in philosophy of religion and ethics. His PhD is in philosophy and theology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

Wallace

Daniel B. Wallace (Keynote and Plenary Speaker)
Dr. Wallace is Senior Professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a former surfer, and pastor, is a member of the Society of New Testament Studies, has written, edited, or otherwise contributed to more than twenty books, and has published articles in New Testament Studies, Novum Testamentum, Biblica, Westminster Theological Journal, and the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society. His Exegetical Syntax of the New Testament is the standard intermediate Greek grammar and has been translated into several languages. He is the executive director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts, an institute whose initial purpose is to preserve Scripture by taking digital photographs of all known Greek New Testament manuscripts. On multiple occasions he has debated Bart Ehrman and he has been interviewed by the likes of U.S. News and World Report and the Wall Street Journal.

 

Robby Bradford (Breakout Speaker)
Dr. Bradford completed both his Master’s degree and doctoral studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has been a minister for nearly 25 years and is currently the Senior Pastor at First Assembly Community Ministries in Lafayette, Indiana since 2010. Before that he served as a seminary professor and church planter in Belgium, The Netherlands and France.

 

Brent Aucoin (Breakout Speaker)
Pastor of Seminary and Soul Care Ministries at Faith Church in Lafayette, IN. He holds multiple graduate degrees including a masters degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering (Purdue), two graduate degrees from seminaries, and a PhD in Old Testament. He is also the President of and an instructor at Faith Bible Seminary.
